THE STORY

A career shaped by movement, responsibility and institution-building.

Ony Mangalibi Ghonda’s professional journey began in the United States, where an early interest in property became a practical education in investment, renovation, client service and the economics of ownership. Publicly available real-estate records place the start of that chapter in 2013, with the purchase of an investment property in Baltimore, followed by work in residential real estate with Long & Foster.

Over time, the focus widened. Enterprise became a platform for larger questions: how capital moves, how institutions work, how communities build durable opportunity, and how experience gained abroad can be applied to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

That evolution led toward public and civic engagement in Kongo Central and Kinshasa, including participation in electoral lists and service within the national executive administration. Today, his work spans public service, private enterprise and community-oriented initiatives.
